La Fuente is just a 5 minute walk and has plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from - and a fountain for the kids to play in!

A five minute drive away is Villamartin Plaza. Again a great place to eat and drink with live music at night.

Check out the local markets. Cabo Roig and San Miguel are great. Lots of cheap fresh produce. The grilled chickens are a must for lunch!

Take 10 minute drive south to Pilar de la Horadada and sample the best steak and fish in the area at El Gallego. Not a bad choice of wine either!

Head 10 minutes West towards San Miguel for Finca Rebate in the 18th Century village of Rebate. A tranquil restaurant with a beautiful outside dining 

Just by Playa Cabo Roig is a great little place to hire a boat. You can explore the coastline up to Torrevieja and as far south as the Mar Menor.
